SelfConfidence matters ....

If you look at most successful people, you'll see that they all have one thing in common - self-confidence. Yes, some people are born with it but for most other people, it's a learned skill.

Here are my top suggestions to increase your confidence:

1. Work on your body language.
We've all been at places where someone quite ordinary strides into a room, makes eye contact and starts impressing the socks off everybody. Or where you think somebody's at least 6 feet tall because of their bearing and the way they carry themselves and then later you realize they're quite average.
Like it or not - first impressions do count. So stand tall and practise good posture. Imagine that you're being pulled by a string going all the way from your toes to the top of your head. And whenever you enter a room, don't walk in almost apologetically. Stride in, make eye contact and be the first to introduce yourself.

2. Get involved in a physical activity - walking, swimming, etc.
Any physical exercise like walking, running, dancing, etc. will make you feel better about yourself. Firstly, exercising releases all those good hormones and then your body image will improve the fitter you get.

3. Wear clothes that fit you correctly.
Feel good factor comes from wearing clean and fitting clothes  The truth is that wearing ill-fitting clothes only serves to accentuate the very areas you're trying to cover up. Those big, baggy T-shirts don't do any favours for most women. In fact, they make you look even bigger.
Sometimes we squeeze ourselves into a pair of jeans (in the correct size) but they look terrible because of the cut. It is much better to buy a larger size and be comfortable. It's the fit not the size that matters.

4. Be kind to yourself.
Think about the things you tell yourself when you make a mistake. Would you say those same things to your friends? Probably not. When we make mistakes, we are often very hard on ourselves. Yet we treat other people much, much better. Next time this happens, stop and start talking to yourself as you would talk to a friend.

5. Remind yourself often of your good qualities.
Do you know what your best qualities are? Are you kind and compassionate? Do you treat people fairly? Are you a friendly person? Do you like to help people?
Make a list of at least five good qualities and remind yourself of them daily, but especially when you're having a bad day.
6. Don't dwell on your past mistakes.
Recognise that the mistake does not define who you are. You can fail an exam without being a failure. Your relationship might have gone off in the ditch but that does not mean you are a failure.
Keep things in perspective. It just means that you failed the exam or that the relationship failed.

7. Surround yourself with supportive people.
The last thing you need when you feel down or less-than-fabulous is to be surrounded by naysayers and negative people telling you that "all men suck" or "it's impossible to get that job you're after".
Choose carefully who you share your heart with and surround yourself with people who will encourage and motivate people. If you don't have many of those in your life, then contact me and I will be your cheerleader!

8. Keep learning new skills
Aside from keeping your mind sharp (and preventing Alzheimer's), be a life-long learner. I'm not necessarily talking about formal education.
What's stopping you from learning a new language, taking a dance class, learning some new computer skills, taking up blogging, etc. Learning will improve your confidence by leaps and bounds.

9. Take the time to reach out to other people through community programmes etc.
If ever you feel down, there's no better upper than helping other people. Volunteer your services at a children's orphanage or an old aged home.
My challenge to you is this - next time you eat out at a restaurant, instead of sending half your meal back to the kitchen, get a doggie bag and give it to the beggar on the nearest corner. His appreciation will melt the hardest of hearts.

10. Learn to stand up for yourself
Your soul dies a tiny little bit every time you keep quiet when you should speak up for yourself. Being a doormat is not attractive and will get you nowhere in the long run.
If haven't had much practice before, start with small things. Insist on low-fat milk in your coffee. Return the milk that went sour before the due date. Write a letter of complain if you get bad customer service. And only when you're feeling more confident, then tackle bigger issues like speaking to your boss about overloading you with work or your friends about relationship issues.
Learn to say no. It's not a swear word - I promise.

Pranayama -Yogic Exercise

Pranayama is an aspect of Yoga that deals with breathing. Pranayama is a method of controlling prana or life force through the regulation of breathing. It is the breathing process or the control of the motion of inhalation, exhalation and the retention of vital energy.

Pranayama

Pranayama or control of Prana, is the means to an end. It helps purification of the nerves and causes Nadi Suddhi. It awakens the mystic, serpent power, Kundalini Sakti. Puraka is inhalation of breath. Kumbhaka is retention. Rechaka is exhalation of breath. The practice of Pranayama should be systematic and well-regulated. The ratio between Puraka, Kumbhaka and Rechaka is 1:4:2. If you inhale for a period of 12 Matras, you will have to do Kumbhaka for a period of 48 Matras, then the Rechaka period is 24 Matras. You must do Rechaka very, very slowly. This is important. This is a sine qua non of the practice.

Easy Comfortable Pranayama

(Sukha Purvaka)

Sit on Padma or Siddha Asana with an empty stomach in your meditation room before the picture of your Ishta Devata. Close your eyes. Close the right nostril with the right thumb. Draw the air in slowly through the left nostril. Then close the left nostril with the right ring and little fingers and retain the air as long as you can comfortably do. Then remove the right thumb and exhale through the right nostril very, very slowly. Now half the process is over. Similarly, draw the air in through the right nostril; retain the breath and exhale through the left nostril. This is one round of Pranayama. Do 20 or 30 Pranayamas in the morning and evening to start with and slowly increase the number to 80 for each sitting. First have two sittings only, in the morning and evening. After due practice you can have four sittings. Have a Bhava that all the Divine qualities such as mercy, love, forgiveness, Santi, joy, enter into your system along with the inspired air and that all Asura Sampat, devilish qualities such as lust, anger, greed, are thrown out along with the expired air. Repeat OM, or Gayatri mentally during Puraka, Kumbhaka and Rechaka.

Pranayama removes all diseases, purifies the Nadis, steadies the mind in concentration, improves digestion, hardens Brahmacharya and awakens the Kundalini. Hardworking Sadhakas can do 320 Pranayamas daily in four sittings at the rate of 80 each sitting. Purification of the Nadis will set in rapidly. Many Siddhis are obtained by Pranayama practice.

Bhastrika Pranayama

This is one of the eight kinds of Pranayama of Yogi Swatmaram. As the bellows of the blacksmith constantly dilate and contract, similarly, slowly draw in air by both nostrils and expand the stomach; then let out air quickly making the sound like bellows. Inhale and exhale quickly ten to twenty times. Then perform Kumbhaka after a deep inhalation. Then expel it slowly. Do this three times. This is a very powerful Pranayama.

Serving the humanity

What does it mean to “become a human? “ Are  we really Human in nature though we call ourselves Human Beings ?
Thinking ….
So let’s have some fun with ourselves.Don't be afraid as this is no hypnotizing As I am always with you ..

Close your eyes .Take 6 long deep breaths very slowly and gradually. Think on incidences where you have been showing a deed of kindness love, compassion to others .
How many instances are there where you have been involved in deeper way to other fellow being since your birth?

A) Hard to remember
B) Easy to remember
C) None

We are vibrational being not the fleshy or bony structure . We are living ultimate manifestation who can bring ultimate peace and happiness in society.
It means to be oneself, to be in harmony with the deepest inner being. The deepest inner being of a human is to rest in happiness (in Sat-Chid-Ananda).
To be a human means to have feelings, to be able to empathize with other beings and to live in all-encompassing love. Or it means to dissolves the ego, and sees him or her through all fellow beings.

To be kind to everyone, and show forth affection to every living soul or being at a deeper level with all other beings feels their joy and their worries and so on
SO what is it that keeps us connected to our own self i.e. inner child..Humbleness…And all godly characteristics you can say.

Serving the humanity
As well said “Service to others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth”.
~Mohammed Ali
·         If you render service in order to oblige a person and if you feel proud of doing it, you are not only doing spiritual harm to the recipient of your service but also to yourself.
·         The consciousness that 'I am obliging someone' is the first to occur during the process of serving; but it can be annulled by the contrary thought, 'I am obliged by being given this opportunity of serving’. This latter thought facilitates the attitude of detachment and secures freedom from the bondage of good actions.

·         When rendering service, one should make efforts to imbibe divine qualities generally in the initial stages, one should render service which is feasible and can be done properly. Then one derives the satisfaction that one has rendered service well and gets the inspiration to do service of the next stage.

·         Often one is unaware of one’s latent potential. Hence, one should render service a little beyond one’s capacity. Only then does one experience the energy that The Lord endows to render that service to perfection.

·         Service rendered unto the Absolute Truth should be devoid of expectations.

Little ways to do service:

Through your Family:

Start with serving in our families. Daily we work, clean, love, support, listen to, teach, and endlessly give of ourselves to the members of our family. We may often feel overwhelmed with all that we must do, but "The key... is to know and understand your own capabilities and limitations and then to pace yourself, allocating and prioritizing your time, your attention, and your resources to wisely help others, including your family.
Give a potion of your income and Offerings
One of the ways we can serve humanity is by helping  children, our brothers and sisters, through paying a tithing and a generous offering . used to help the hungry, thirsty, naked, stranger, sick, and afflicted both those locally and world wide. has helped millions of people through their amazing humanitarian efforts. All this service has only been possible through both the financial and physical support of many volunteer as people serve God by serving their fellowman.

Get involved in your Community:

You can easily become involved in your community, it only takes a little effort to contact a local group, charity, or other community program.
 Donate Clothing and Other Goods
You can donate all throughout the world your unused clothing, shoes, dishes, blankets/quilts, toys, furniture, books, and other items. Generously giving of these items to help others is an easy way to serve and declutter your home at the same time. When preparing those things you are going to donate it is always appreciated if you only give those items that are clean and in working order.
Help Children
So many children and teenagers need our love- and we can give it! There are many programs to become involved with helping children and you can easily become a school or library volunteer and help them to grow as a responsible human being .
Utilize Your Talents
Each of us have been given talents from the Lord that we should develop and use to serve God and others. Examine your life and see what talents you have. What are you good at? How could you use your talents to help those around you? Do you enjoy making cards? Are you good with children? Offer to watch someone's child in a time of need. Are you good with your hands? Computers? Gardening? Building? Organizing? You can help others with your skills by praying for help to develop your talents.
